As this school year comes to an end I’d like to thank you for allowing me to be your child’s teacher for 3rd grade. The students have learned a lot and are prepared for fourth grade. I have enjoyed watching them learn and grow. Have a wonderful and safe summer!
Please have your child bring an extra bag to bring supplies etc. home on Monday, June 8th.
We plan on having an end of the year celebration on Tuesday, June 9th at 3:00pm outside on the playground (weather permitting). It is VERY low key with a cold treat and basically extra recess.
FREE PIZZA LUNCH on Tuesday, June 9th provided by Mrs. Fuhrwerk! Thank you!!! (Bring your own drink).
Wednesday morning will be the last day.
Students will be dismissed at 12:16.
I will be creating a slide show with pictures from Field Day, Lansing, and the end of the year festivities. It will be posted here after school is out and I will also attempt emailing it to each family.
In reading we’ve been learning how and why author’s present social situations and peer issues. I’m reading a book to the class about situations that deal with honesty, integrity, and peer pressure. The book is titled The Report Card by Andrew Clements.
The Unit 8 BA on Monday, June 8th. This BA will be guided since we were not able to get through all of the material due to the
M-Step scheduling. Therefore, it will not be a recorded grade on the report card.
